Racing shifts to Rosehill Gardens this Saturday, 8 December with a day of celebration to mark the end of a 16-week forced suspension of racing due to the outbreak of Equine Influenza.
With an eight-race program to satisfy the passionate punter, a perfect excuse to finally don items from your summer wardrobe; and entertainment spilling from every corner of the racecourse, Sydney Turf Club is expecting a bumper crowd to welcome back racing.
The first 2,000 people on course will receive a complimentary $10 betting voucher, courtesy of TAB.
Carnival rides including dodgem cars, The Ranger and a jumping castle will keep kids of all ages amused and they will be delighted by free snow cones and fairy floss.
With Christmas drawing nearer, we have been guaranteed a visit from Santa who will make his way to the racecourse to hear the wishes of our youngest racegoers.
Gates open at 11.00am, with the first race at 1.10pm.
Future race meets at Rosehill Gardens include Franklins Christmas Race Day on Saturday 15 December and Saturday racing on 29 December.
