A DOUBLE requires you to select the winners of two nominated races. Each of the two DOUBLE races is known as a LEG. DOUBLE bets must be placed before the start of the first LEG.
You can bet on three types of DOUBLES. They are:
- DAILY DOUBLE - Two nominated races, any venue - Both on-course and TAB Pools.
- EXTRA DOUBLE - Two nominated races, any venue - Both on-course and TAB Pools.
A SPECIAL dividend is paid if your FIRST LEG wins and your SECOND LEG is scratched. If your FIRST LEG is scratched you can:
- Obtain a refund prior to the start of the SECOND LEG. or
- If you do not return your ticket prior to the SECOND LEG your ticket is automatically changed to a WIN bet on your SECOND LEG selection.

MULTIPLE DOUBLE is where you select two or more runners in each LEG e.g. If you select 1 & 2 in the FIRST LEG with numbers 1, 2 & 3 in the SECOND LEG you receive 6 combinations with which you with which you can win the DOUBLE.

- Minimum bet is 50c. All dividends are declared as $1 unit.
